Its size is 2.4 x 0.57 x 4.4 inches and its weight is 5.7 oz. When the slide is opened the length of the cell phone reaches to 5.8 inches. The phone is easy to handle and is small in size to fit in a pocket comfortably. This new BlackBerry 9800 has BlackBerry 6 O.S which makes it much better than the previous BlackBerry smartphones. It also has new WebKit-based browser, universal search and auto-wrap text zoom features.

Other than that it has enhanced multimedia features, 5 mega pixel camera and extendable memory through the Micro SD card. The new BlackBerry Torch 9800 is really something different by Research in Motion (RIM) after a long while. RIM believes that this new cell phone can give some competition to Apple iPhone and other touchscreen smartphones by Nokia, Samsung, LG and Motorola but it is more likely to retain the BlackBerry lovers.
