Galaxy Tab 10.1 – The best tab yet
Apple has long held the prestigious spot of being the producer of one of the most powerful tablets ever. However overrated it might be, there is no denying the fact that there are hardly any other manufacturers who are held at the same level at the pompous American company. Fortunately for the users and unfortunately for the American giant, there is another player in the market that has emerged as a mega competitor. Samsung, one of the most notable Korean companies, is one such play that has been able to accumulate such massive success during the course of recent few years that it has given iPad a run for its money.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 stripped iPad 2 off its title of being the slimmest and the lightest tablet (as of the moment). Soon after its release, Galaxy Tab registered itself as one of the major contenders in the market. For a tiny gadget, GT 10.1 is definitely a very powerful tool which is brimful of some of the top-notch features one can expect to see from Android. Equipped with Honeycomb (Android 3.1), Galaxy tablet is undoubtedly Samsung’s best tablet to date. Galaxy’s 10.1 inch screen is bigger than that of iPad 2. With a screen resolution of 1280 x 800, it is designed for widescreen viewing, giving it a spectacular picture quality.
While the rest of the specs of the device are stellar to say the least, the average user hardly goes beyond some of the basic things such as the quality of images taken from the device’s camera. Rear cam which is 3 megapixels, delivers a picture quality that some say is three times better than that you can get with an iPad 2. 2 MP front cam produces sharp images which aren’t bad either. With its 7000mAh battery, it is a tad bit better than iPad 2′s 6600mAh. All in all, Samsung has definitely upped its game with Galaxy Tab 10.1 which is at least miles better than Galaxy Tab 10.1V, the chunky device released earlier.
