Yes you heard it correct. Tony Stark in Iron Man 2 will promote the LG Android cell phone called LG Ally. LG has partnered in marketing Iron Man 2 from Marvel Studio. The new LG Ally mobile phone is a touchscreen handset and has an exclusive augmented reality app. People will watch Tony Stark using this new cell phone in the movie Iron Man 2.

The new LG Ally touchscreen mobile phone will have a  slide side QWERTY keyboard. It will be available in the market on the 20^th of this month. It will have 2.1 version of Android, Blutooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. Moreover, it will feature 3.2 MP camera with a flash light right next to the camera lens and extendable memory through microSD card. It is still unclear whether it will be social media supportive or not. Looks like it will be because people demand social networking features in the cell phones now. If it lacks this then it won’t be able to attract a lot of market attention.

Partnering with Iron Man 2 is an intelligent move by LG. According to some reports a special edition of Iron Man 2 comic book will be given away to the purchasers who will buy LG Ally, LG Chocolate Touch and LG enV Touch mobile phone. Moreover, special gifts, discount cards and free tickets will also be offered to the LG Ally customers. And people who buy tickets to watch the movie can enter into lucky draw and win exciting prices from LG.

The Corporate Vice President Marketing and Innovation LG Mobiles said that “Allowing LG to display its innovation expertise and most advanced devices, Iron Man 2 is the perfect fit for LG’s sophisticated handsets and smart products.”

Both Iron Man 2 and LG Ally will be featured at ” LG Design the Future Challenge” in the New York City. It looks like LG has put a lot of effort in making this cell phone successful.
